Fogged reveals the map only from photos that carry GPS coordinates. Photos taken with location services turned off, screenshots, saved images, and photos shared to you by other people usually have no coordinates and cannot reveal anything. Photos taken on your own phone with location enabled are the ones that count.
That is iOS "limited" photo access — Fogged can see only the photos you explicitly selected. To let it scan everything, open iOS Settings, find Fogged, tap Photos, and choose Full Access.
No. There is no server. Your photos, their locations and your map are processed and stored on your device. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics and purchase records — see the privacy policy for exactly what.
No. Your revealed map, trips, and statistics stay on your device. Fogged simply stops finding new photos until you grant access again.
Open Settings inside the app and clear your data, or delete the app from your device. Both remove all of it permanently. Nothing is retained anywhere else, because there is nowhere else.
Open Settings inside the app, or the paywall, and use Restore. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still does not restore, email us.
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Fogged. You can also reach it from Settings inside Fogged → Manage Subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Without Pro, the reveal of your map plays for a limited time. Your whole library is still processed; unlocking Pro continues the reveal from where it stopped.
